Matthew Brower’s research examines contemporary and historical visual culture with a particular emphasis on issues of display, taking the form of both written publications and exhibitions. Currently he is co-investigator on a SSHRC funded project titled “Digital Animalities.” The project examines the intersections between the rise of risk culture, digital technologies, and animal bodies.
